Courthouse Tours

Program Information

DCO Tours are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at the Harris County Civil Courthouse.

The Harris County District Clerk's Office serves the judicial system and the public by:
Managing and creating court records and court orders
Assessing and collecting court costs, fines and fees
Processing passport applications
Managing the juror summons process

This tour will give you an in-depth look at what we do by exploring the different departments within the District Clerk's office. You will also get a chance to see some historical documents from as far back as 1870.

(Tours are unavailable December 16 - January 20.)

You will be contacted by the tour coordinator to confirm the date. Once confirmed, you will be asked to send a roster of attendees, adults/chaparones inclusive. You will also be asked to download and complete the Media Consent Release Form for each attendee under the age of 18. Please bring the signed forms with you on the day of the tour.
